Carnaval de Calaveras: Día de los Muertos Festival will be the first stadium festival in South Texas since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March. The event, a cultural nod to the Valley’s Hispanic roots, will begin with an Indian prayer for the departed ceremony at 7:00 pm, followed by a showing of the Disney hit movie Coco at 7:15, and will conclude with a live performance by Grupo Solido at 9:40pm.

Socially distanced tickets in the stands start at just $10 each, while four-person pods on the field will start at $100, offering 10 ft. of distance between each pod.

“The safety of our guests and staff has been and will remain our top priority,” says Ron Patel, President of Golden Grape Entertainment, which owns and operates the H-E-B Park. “We have implemented all of the safety measures our patrons said were important to them in surveys, and have taken the time to perfect our safety and sanitation protocols.” From socially distanced seating to mandatory masks and sanitation stations, the H-E-B Park and it’s staff have taken measure to ensure the health and safety of all patron and employees.
