Job Summary: Golden Grape Entertainment is seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to assist with proactive
communications efforts related to all GGE entities including but not limited to RGV FC Toros, Bert Ogden Arena
and H-E-B Park. The position is responsible for contributing to the strategic development and implementation of
initiatives based on brands needs and objectives. Responsible for compiling and maintaining measurable metrics
against PR campaigns and secured media for various projects. They will develop and execute communications
programs tactics that drive awareness and engagement among our target stakeholders, including leveraging
earned media, paid media and owned channels to drive key messages. Wage: $15.00/hour
Supervisory Responsibilities:
● This position has no supervisory responsibilities
● Responsible for execution of internal and external day-to-day PR activities for all GGE entities, including
PR plan execution and press event creation.
● Pitches, coordinates and covers media interviews, feature stories and appearances for Players and GGE
Personnel, solely interacting with media and event personnel.
● Writes and distributes press releases, media alerts and artwork for the various GGE entities.
● Acts as the liaison with marketing partnerships team, and potentially show sponsor PR teams, to promote
events through coordinated sponsor-related events.
● Assists in coordinating media events including scheduling, preparing timelines, drafting talking points, and
other tasks as needed.
● Assists in tracking upcoming projects, deadlines, awards, and milestones.
● Responsible for the on-going public relations strategy development and execution for GGE to ensure
visibility for charity and its impact.
● Help coordinate media trainings for Players and GGE personnel for interviews and panels they participate
in to promote GGE properties, including the RGV FC Toros, Venues and concerts/events.
● Responsible for compiling and maintaining measurable metrics against PR campaigns and secured media
for various projects.
● Own and maintain shared drives and databases, contacts, industry lists, inventory, and calendars.
RGV FC Toros Specific Duties
● Serve as the main point of contact for RGV FC Toros; produce league guides with roster, bios, etc.
● Assist in the production and writing of department publications, including media guides, game notes and
press releases
● Attends every home game.

● Track and compile credential requests; create and disseminate temporary credentials for each game
● Prepare game information and coordinate any requests for media/team executives
● Represent RGV FC Toros PR at most practices to oversee and monitor any potential media or internal
interview requests
● Assists in maintaining Game Notes and the distribution of pregame and postgame materials to media.

Required Skills
● Knowledge of and interest in USL Soccer, current events and trends in sports & entertainment media,
marketing, and business.
● Deep knowledge of RGV FC Toros team and history
● Comfortable working with talent and senior level executives
● Experience in writing press releases and pitch letters and some experience in executing PR plans
● Ability to participate in and support intra and cross-departmental activities in public relations and
community relations.
● Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of media and community contacts (such
as newspapers, TV, radio, social media, etc.)
● Strong written and verbal communications skills.
● Excellent organizational skills and strong multi-tasking ability.
● Good with time management and ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast pace environment
● Highly collaborative; strong teamwork, and relationship-building skills
● Ability to maintain confidential and/or proprietary information
● Requires ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition
to normal business hours
● Computer Skills to perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge of
Microsoft Office, including Excel and must be able to learn the Maintenance Manager software program.
Education and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in related field
● 1-3 years PR experience preferred, including internships.
● None.

Physical Requirements:
● While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods
of time.
● Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending.
● Frequently moves Audio/Visual equipment weighing up to 50 pounds based on the event’s needs.
● Working conditions involve both indoor/outdoor weather conditions.
