REPORTS TO: Director of Retail
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: PRN – As Needed, Non-Exempt
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Greeting customers as they enter the store
- Responding to any questions about the merchandise, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service
- Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers
- Directing customers to merchandise within the store
- Increasing in store sales
- Knowledge of the store products
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts
- Achieving established goal
- GED/ High School Diploma required
- Must have excellent cash handling and customer service skills
- Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus
- May be required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, and climb up/down stairs
- May be required to stoop, kneel, sit, or crouch
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pound
- Must be able to work irregular hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
