Please be advised that the Pitbull concert scheduled for October 10, 2020 has been rescheduled for August 5, 2021. We’ve worked with the event organizer to make sure you still have a chance to attend. Your tickets are still valid for the new date. We understand that you might not be able to make it, so we have worked with the event organizer to offer refunds from October 5 thru November 3, 2020.
Bert Ogden Arena will be one of more than 70 polling locations in Hidalgo County on November 3. The home of the Vipers is spacious enough to host as a polling site that allows all voters to socially distance during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only are voters able to put their ballot for the presidential race, but they are able to elect local judges, school board heads and many more.
Golden Grape Entertainment announced that they will be leading an effort to gather supplies to aid the victims of Hurricane Laura in Texas and Louisiana, now through next Saturday, September 12th. Donations can be made at the Bert Ogden Arena by dropping off items Monday-Friday from 8am to 7pm and Saturday-Sunday from 9am to 3pm.
Please be advised that the Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias “Beyond The Fluffy” World Tour “Go Big or Go Home” date originally scheduled to take place at Bert Ogden Arena on April 16, 2020, that was postponed to October 22, 2020, has now been rescheduled to October 7, 2021.
Free COVID-19 testing has been extended at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg through Friday, July 17, 2020. Testing times are available from 8:00am to 12:00 pm daily. You must register to be tested and you are asked to print out your registration voucher and bring it with you to your appointment. Everyone who is testing must create an account and register at www.doineedacovid19test.com. This is how you will receive your results.
The Bert Ogden Arena and H-E-B Park will serve as host sites for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ FREE COVID-19 testing program, which will be open to the public beginning on Wednesday, July 8th through Tuesday, July 14th from 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, or until 5,000 tests are administered per day. The testing is FREE and open to the public.
