Free COVID-19 testing has been extended at Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg through Friday, July 17, 2020. Testing times are available from 8:00am to 12:00 pm daily. You must register to be tested and you are asked to print out your registration voucher and bring it with you to your appointment. Everyone who is testing must create an account and register at www.doineedacovid19test.com. This is how you will receive your results.
The Bert Ogden Arena and H-E-B Park will serve as host sites for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ FREE COVID-19 testing program, which will be open to the public beginning on Wednesday, July 8th through Tuesday, July 14th from 8 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, or until 5,000 tests are administered per day. The testing is FREE and open to the public.

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Wednesday that the men’s and women’s basketball teams will play at least three games at Bert Ogden Arena, including a doubleheader against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Dec. 2 and a men’s game against three-time defending Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Champion New Mexico State on Feb. 18.
VStar Entertainment Group announces today the cancellation of PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” which was scheduled April 4 & 5, 2020 at the Bert Ogden Arena. This announcement comes following cancellations and/or postponement of numerous VStar Entertainment shows across the country due to COVID-19.
